Discovering the wonderful Lake Garda from north to south!<\/p>\n

We will have Sirmione as our base, the pearl of the peninsula, to whose beauty even Catullus dedicated a Carme, and where we will take a walk together to discover its most authentic part.<\/p>\n

It is a thermal and seaside place, but also rich in history and culture, where the Rocca Scaligera and the Grotte di Catullo dominate the surrounding waters imposingly.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The following days, we will take surprisingly panoramic treks: suspended balconies overlooking the blue of the Alto Garda, surrounded by a typical nature, enriched by a real open-air museum with testimonies of the First World War and the centenary legend of Montecastello Sanctuary. We will discover traditions, history, local customs and taste the excellent Lugana wine, produced in the Sirmione countryside.<\/p>\n

The trip is designed with their own vehicle, everyone will have free time during the day to spend according to their preferences, among the many opportunities that the splendid area offers.<\/p>\n

PROGRAM: <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

1st DAY: SIRMIONE <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Arrival in Sirmione by own vehicle and check-in to Hotel Grifone.<\/p>\n

In the afternoon walk in the centre of Sirmione accompanied by ITrek ITaly Tour Leader and Nature Hiking Guide to discover the \u00ab\u00a0pearl of Lake Garda\u00a0\u00bb. Visit of the Scaligero Castle and the Grotte di Catullo. Overnight stay at the hotel.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

2nd DAY: BUSATTE-TEMPESTA TREKKING <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

After a rich international breakfast at the hotel, departure for Nago di Torbole by its own vehicle for a wonderful panoramic trekking. We will start from the parking at loc.Busatte and we will set off on the path that follows the slope of M.Baldo. After passing the Nago\u2019s Laste and Marocche, a large stony area that dates back to 15.000 years ago, the path becomes a downhill steel staircase (for a total of almost 400 steps), and it is like to be on a terrific panoramic balcony suspended over the blue lake. We will continue along the circular route, between the Benacus\u2019karst phenomena and typical vegetation.<\/p>\n

Packed lunch or lunch at Restaurant Le Busatte, at participant\u2019s expense.<\/p>\n

Return to Sirmione by its own vehicle and overnight at the hotel.<\/p>\n

3rd DAY: TREKKING \u00ab\u00a0LA STELLA DEL GARDA\u00a0\u00bb <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

After breakfast on the \u201cflowery\u201d terrace overlooking the lightblue waters of the lake at the hotel, departure by its own vehicle to the Sanctuary of Montecastello in Tignale.<\/p>\n

Trekking to discover the Sanctuary of Montecastello, its legends and its centenary history. We will then continue on the adjacent path, from which you can admire a wonderful panorama of Lake Garda. Views of great beauty but also ancient testimonies of the First World War, in a valuable naturalistic context, among chestnut, oak and hornbeam woods.<\/p>\n

Packed lunch or at the Sanctuary bar, at participant\u2019s expense.<\/p>\n

Return to Sirmione by its own vehicle and overnight at the hotel.<\/p>\n

4th DAY: VISIT TO A LUGANA\u2019S WINERY <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning guided tour of a Lugana\u2019s winery and wine tasting. Return by its own vehicle to the place of departure.<\/p>\n
