Art. 1 – Photo Contest Hotel Grifone, Sirmione
Hotel Grifone of Sirmione promotes the Photo Contest 2022 , 4th edition
Art. 2 – Participation
The contest is open to everyone who stays a minimum of one night at Hotel Grifone in Sirmione during the season 2022/2023. The photographs which are submitted in the competition must have been taken from 1st April 2022 to 9th january 2023. The deadline for showing the photographs of the contest is on 15th January 2023.
Art.3 – Entry Requirements
Participation in this Photo Contest can only be accepted following the rules on the website www.sirmionehotelgrifone.it
Art. 4 – Costs
Participation is free.
Art. 5 – Topics
- Breakfast at the Hotel Grifone: tastes, scents and nuances at awakening.
- What made my stay at the Hotel Grifone unforgettable.
Art. 6 – Technical features of the photos:
- Photographs must not contain any type of white boarders, writings, signatures or logos.
- The description of the photograph must only include: the author’s surname and name – Title of the photo – date of shooting. Example: “Rossi Mario – Beautiful view of Sirmione from my room – 05.06.2022”
- Each person can participate with a maximum of 15 photos (black&white and/or colour photos)
- It is necessary that participants share their photos on their Facebook and/or Instagram Profiles. The participant has to tag “Meublé Grifone Sirmione” (Profile) or “Meublé Grifone” (Page) on Facebook, and “@hotelgrifonesirmione” on Instagram in the photo so that it can be easily viewed by the jury members. Should you cannot tag the hotel, follow these simple passages: on facebook, send friend request to “Meublé Grifone Sirmione” and add your “Like” to the page “Meublé Grifone” ; on Instagram, search for “Hotel Grifone Sirmione” and click on “Follow”. Then tag your photos as previously explained.
- Add hashtags #hotelgrifonesirmione #photocontesthotelgrifone to the description of your photos in order to make them immediately noticeable.
Art. 7 – Awards:
1st Prize: 2 night-stay with breakfast, for two people, in April or October 2023, feast days and high season days excluded. The dates must be decided with the Management.
2nd Prize: 1 night-stay with breakfast, for two people, in 2023, feast days and high season days excluded. The date must be decided with the Management.
3rd Prize: 1 breakfast on the terrace to the lake, for two people, in 2023, feast days excluded. The date must be decided with the Management.
-Every award is personal and non-transferable. The prizes cannot be accumulated.
-Prize-giving: Between January and April 2023. The organization will communicate the 3 winners on Hotel Grifone’s Facebook and Instagram Accounts.
– The winning photos and a selection of the best photographs admitted to the contest will be published on Hotel Grifone’s Facebook and Instagram Official Accounts.
Art. 8 – Copyright:
The candidate must declare under his own responsibility that :
- He is the true author of the photo and that he has all the rights relating to it
- The photo does not damage any third party and does not violate current regulations.
Art. 9 – Declarations:
- The author declares and guarantees to be the title holder of each moral and patrimonial rights relating to the photo
- In all cases the author accepts total responsibility, costs and obligations of any nature that might be incured due to the content. No responsibility will be attributed in any shape or form to the organizational body.
- The author grants Hotel Grifone of Sirmione a full-use license, not exclusive, irrevocable, for a permanent period of time and totally free.
Art. 10 – Disqualifications
Participants non-compliance of Articles 8 and 9 implicates the automatic expulsion of the photos. The photographs that do not meet the technical requirements listed in Article 6 will not be considered valid. In the case of the winning participant cancelling his Facebook or Instagram account prior to the prize-giving, the jury will chose another new winner. Furthermore, any omissions or inaccuracies in the description of the photograph will lead to the withdrawal of the participation from the contest.
Art. 11 – Panel of Judges
The Photo Contest Panel is made up of: Mrs. Enza Caccaro and Miss Laurenzia Pellegrini.
The decisions made by the panel cannot be contested or appealed. The panel has unreserved rights in all matters regarding the Photo Contest discussed in these Articles and otherwise. Moreover, the panel has the right of final decision about everything not specified in these Guidelines.
Art. 12 – Publication of the photographs
The more-deserving photographs shared by participants on their Facebook and/or Instagram accounts will be published on the Hotel Grifone Facebook and Instagram accounts. It is essential that the photographs published by the participants be tagged with “Meublé Grifone Sirmione” (profile) or “Meuble Grifone” (page) on fb, and “@hotelgrifonesirmione” on Instagram. The photographs may be published on the official website of Hotel Grifone of Sirmione.
Art. 13 – Communication
The organizational committee will communicate with each participant exclusively via public or private message on Facebook and/or Instagram. Should the winning participant cancel his/her Facebook or Instagram account before the prize-giving, the panel will not be able to contact the participant.

Art. 15 – Acceptance of Guidelines
Participation in the Photo Contest immediately implies complete acceptance of these Guidelines. In order to take part in this competition it is necessary to carefully read and apply the guidelines available on the website of Hotel Grifone, Sirmione www.sirmionehotelgrifone.it , in the Events section.
